The Accountants for Growth

How healthy is your business?

How healthy is your business?

Your business is probably the single most important financial asset to you and is likely to produce a high percentage of your income and financial requirements.  It is therefore extremely important that it is running in the best way possible, both from a practical and legal perspective.

The “Business Health Check Service” enables you to answer a series of questions relating to your business.  Our expert team of legal advisers can then assess the answers to these questions and advise you on the suggested areas of improvement in order to promote the overall success of your business.  This will also include specialist legal advice on all legal compliance issues.

The checklist of questions is not exhaustive and should not take you very long to complete, sixty seconds in fact.  However, the benefits of doing so can be quite dramatic.  The questions comprise of various different areas for example:

  • The chosen structure for your business – are you operating in the most beneficial way for you?  Perhaps there is a better way?
  • Are all of the contracts your business uses of the correct standard or could they be improved?  For example, employment contracts, supply of goods and services agreements and confidentiality agreements.
  • Are your business terms and conditions drafted in the most preferable way for your business?
  • Does your business fully comply with the breadth of legislative provisions in force?  We can check these for you.
  • If your business operates as a partnership do you have a partnership agreement?  Or if it is operating as a business do you have a shareholders agreement?

The above list of questions are a sample of the type you will be asked to answer as part of the “Business Health Check Service”.  Our experienced team of business advisers can not only advise you on the options to improve your business but are also experts in considering the commercial impacts of the business world we operate in and you can be guaranteed a service with a real focus on business succession.
